Marcelle Waldman

Lead Teacher – Pre-K

Marcelle Waldman grew up right here on Mercer Island. She comes to us with considerable teaching experience. After graduating from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, Marcelle taught Kindergarten at Lakeridge Elementary School for eight years. She stepped away from teaching full-time after having two of her own children. After putting both children through Pixie Hill Preschool and serving on the Parent Board, she came on as a lead teacher. Marcelle values the importance of social and emotional development and explicitly teaches these skills on a daily basis. Marcelle, her husband Tom, and their two children enjoy family game nights, playing outdoors and attending family sporting events.
